The UVM Kosice holds a matriculation ceremony for new students to sign the official register of students.

I read the article about you in the Veterinary Times, and I was just wondering why you couldn’t apply for any of the 4 year graduate courses in the UK? Nottingham has fees of £9000p.a. now, with generous bursaries for those from lower income backgrounds. I am only asking because I am in a similar situation myself. All the best with you efforts!

There are no bursaries offered by Nottingham Uni for postgraduate students (aka those that have already completed a degree) so basically you would need to find the £9000 upfront each year. Nottingham also give a guide budget of £700/month for living & accomodation which is £8400 over a year so you’d have to find £16,400 a year. In addition I cannot find details of their 4 year programme (other than that at St Georges which was when I looked about £15k a semester or £30k/year just for tuition).
Once you have completed a first degree you are eligable for paying full fee’s, in Edinburgh this is for example £26,400 tuition a year (http://www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/vet/studying/uk-eu-graduates/fees-funding/fees-graduates-overseas). Bristol is £18,450 tuition a year (http://www.bris.ac.uk/prospectus/undergraduate/2012/moneymatters/tuition-fees.html).
I could apply for these courses, the problem is I couldn’t afford to study at these prices with no loans or support available.

P.S. Something I found out recently was that if you are cheeky and do a Foundation Degree you get around the being a graduate so can get full student loan funding.
